$117 Million for Ambulance Accident

ambulance Mike Pierce was one of the lead lawyers responsible for obtaining a $117 Million recovery for catastrophically injuring a twenty-one year old mother of two.

Mr. Pierce took most of the pretrial depositions and a number of trial witnesses. The suit involved a vehicle collision that occurred while an Acadian Ambulance driver was transporting the Plaintiff to the hospital. The driver dropped his keys on the floor and took his eyes off the road while traveling 60 mph, leading to a violent rear-end collision. The jury returned a verdict of $117 million, which is the largest single personal injury verdict in Louisiana history.
