Angela Lee recently spoke with Juris Education regarding her journey to becoming a personal injury attorney. She recounts vital aspects that shaped her career and what aspiring lawyers should consider throughout their journey.
Lee’s motivation for becoming a lawyer " was based on a combination of my interest, aptitude, and realistic concerns. Even as a child, I was always interested in helping people.
As Lee recalled her journey as a law student, she said "Getting letters of recommendation can be more stressful than you think because there can be unexpected delays and unreturned requests. Start everything early." Students looking for suitable work experience for law school should take note of this.
Since AI is making splashes in many industries, Lee also talked about AI’s role in law. She thinks that students should “definitely pay attention to the use of AI in law. That does not mean using Chat-GPT for everything. Knowing how to appropriately use AI and other technological tools will help you save a lot of time.”
